- An on-line job description is the best way to ensure that all of the information can be presented to the candidate.
- If there is no on-line job description, keep your description short to fit the LinkedIn and Facebook space limits.
- Include instructions on how to apply and contact information if not included in the link.
- If no other contact information is included, the name and e-mail of the submitter will be used as contact information.
LinkedIn has a 2000 characters limit, so be concise. If you do not have a link, do not include unnecessary information like corporate history, mission, vision, or anything else the applicant should be able to find doing their research on the company. Simply describe the job and tell people how to reach you.
