This forum will return to active status when social distancing requirements are relaxed and we are able to return to in person meetings.

Are you having problems with your computer? Bring it in and let Scott or Gary. They will work on resolving the issue and get it up and running.

If possible, catch Scott by the end of the main meeting. If he can help you immediately, he will. This gives him the opportunity to take care of those who need his help and go home, without having to return again later. If you e-mail, mention HIREDTexas. Scott screens all phone callls, so when you call, please leave a message.

If you're ready to upgrade system memory or to a Solid State Drive (SSD), Scott has prepared some instructions you can refer to.

Do you use an iPhone, iPad, or a Macintosh computer? Are you having issues setting up or using these devices that are impacting your job search? Maybe your devices are working fine, but you can’t remember the passwords to all your online services? And what would you do if you lost your iPhone, or if your Mac hard drive crashed? Are these kinds of issues keeping you from making the best use of your time?

Gary Cernosek is working full time not but still volunteers to be your “Personal Technology Coach.” Gary specializes in Apple products and will help you get your IT problems out of the way so you can focus on finding a new job. He can then help you get the most out of your personal tech gear as its applies to the job search. Gary can review your time management practices and share which tools he uses in his own job search activities.
