HIREDTexas offers classes in Computer Fundamentals, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Classes meet Monday and Tuesday afternoons for 3 weeks so each class can be completed within the month.
ACloud Guru – Offers training on Cloud technologies based on Amazon Web Services including AWS certifications. Courses can be taken on a single course basis or as a group leading to a certification.
Amazon Web Services Training Portal – Amazon’s internal training portal for AWS. Some free on-line courses and some paid instructor led classroom courses with substantial information on the AWS Certification options.
Austin Free-net – One on one training to meet your specific needs at eight locations in Austin. There is no set curriculum. You go in, tell them what help you need, and their volunteers will assist you with that.
Code Academy – A free, interactive coding school. Covers many of the latest web development technologies.
Code School – An interactive learning destination for aspiring and experienced developers. Covers many of the latest web, programming, and database technologies.

Google Analytics Academy – Learn about Google’s measurement tools so that you can grow your business through intelligent data collection and analysis.
GymnAsium – Web Design and Coding. Has short courses that are under an hour and longer courses that run 3-6 hours. All taught on-line and are instructor led.
Microsoft – Basic introductions to Windows 10, Excel, PowerPoint and Word conducted in their store in the Domain.
Round Rock Public Library – Research and Learning resources available through the Round Rock and other local libraries. Some resources require a valid library card for access. Cards are currently free to Texas residents. SkillPointAlliance.org – Offers full-time computer skills learning. Applications are required.
- Basic Computer Skills is a 6-week class that covers key areas of computer use including, browsing the web, using e-mail, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Advanced Computer Skills is a 4-week class that gets more deeply into Word and Excel. Upon completion you can test for a Microsoft Certification in one of those applications.
