The primary focus of Practice Makes Perfect is for members to gain the confidence needed to stand out in a job interview setting, either a one-on-one or panel interview.
We practice answering commonly and uncommonly asked interview questions and the group provides well-meaning feedback to help participants improve their interview skills.
Additional exercises focus on your elevator pitch/speech, tell me about yourself (TMAY) statement, resumes and cover letters, and informational (advice) interviews.
Practice in this safe, congenial setting will prepare you for the toughest interview experience, because you will have the self confidence to think on your feet and nail those behavioral interview questions with practiced, fine-tuned examples.
